Midland Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Lead Sterile Processing Tech.
Here is what you will do:
You will perform the essential duties and responsibilities of a Sterile Processing Tech which includes sorting reusable materials based on methods of decontamination, accurately assemble instrument sets and trays in a timely manner, as well as inspect assembled instruments for cleanliness, state of repair, and completeness. The Lead Sterile Processing Tech is responsible for promoting teamwork with physicians, Operating Room staff, and all areas served by Sterile Processing. You will schedule, train and support staff in all areas, and manage ordering. You will work in an environment that requires strict adherence to guidelines. You will lead the department in the absence of the supervisor, progressive practical experience and demonstrated leadership is necessary.

Education & Experience
Must be CRCST certified and maintain CRCST certification for duration of employment.
3-5 years of experience.
Stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach, lift, see, speak and hear.
Lifting is limited to 35 lbs. for clinical staff and to 50 lbs. for non-clinical staff. The individual must use an assisted-lift device or get another individual(s) to assist with the lift that is over these maximum limits.
