JOB SUMMARY: Responsible to manage all aspects of materials flow in the department and to maintain control and accuracy over all inventories, including setting par level, scheduling ordering date, documentation of order placed and received, develop and manage all supplier listing and relationships.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Plans, organizes, and implements inventory operations and procedures, supervises physical inventory count. Reviews daily inventory activity; maintains accurate inventory master files, manufacturer and catalog numbers, and material descriptions. Remains current on new and obsolete materials. Maintains adequate levels of inventory stock. Reviews receiving records, maintains receiving records on file until invoice is received. Reconciles invoices with correct receiving record and file both. Research best practices in materials management, forecast, and establish polices based manufacturer’s “Information For Use” (IFU). Review department supplies daily and take proactive steps in making sure that all needed supplies are ordered or on hand. Collaborates with CSSD Manager and Supervisors in determining supplies usage and replenishment. Works closely with the Equipment Technicians in all functions of their job, know the Code cart supplies. Performs other related duties as required. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: Associate of Arts (AA) in Materials Management or Business 1-2 years work experience in Materials management
SKILLS and ABILITIES: Customer service, friendly, approachable Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point presentation Ability to exercise judgement in appraising situation in making decisions.
