Performs Ultra Sound procedures as ordered by the physician and approved by the Medical Director. Stocks and maintains work area in an orderly fashion. Coordinates operations of Ultra Sound equipment, patient care, documentation of required records, QA, and scheduling. Maintains the standards, quality, and commitment of service set forth by CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital and Radiology services. Provides services to patients of all ages at a high competency level.
Must be able to prioritize workflow on a daily basis. Must be able to communicate effectively in written and spoken form with individuals of various education levels including physicians. Ability to interpret medical terminology and possess an understanding of human anatomy and physiology
One year experience as staff US Technologist preferred
Licenses, Registrations or Certifications
Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography or eligible.
