To be successful in this role you will need to be detailed oriented and experienced in working in sterile environments. In this role, you will perform repetitive work in a fast-paced environment. You will have the opportunity to sterilize surgical instruments in preparation for surgical procedures. You will have the opportunity to test and operate the autoclave machines. You will perform inventory control and will need to be very detailed oriented and processed driven.
In one year this team sterilizes approximately 98,000 instrument sets and 3.8 million individual instruments. This department is working towards continuous improvement through process optimization and ongoing education. This department prides themselves on training and developing their staff while providing support for one another in achieving their career goals.

Certificate, License or Registration ~ CS/SPD certification within first year
BLS Certification required within the first 60 days of employment
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Sterile Processing Certificate,
Certified CS/SPD or Surgical Technician
