JOB SUMMARY The Polysomnography Technologist Supervisor gathers and analyzes data for sleep physiology studies, and trains other staff members in Polysomnography.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE The Polysomnography Technologist Supervisor participates in the planning, designing and execution of all clinical research daytime and nighttime Polysomnography studies, and performs all facets of monitoring the patient's sleep, distinguishing between normal tracings and tracings and those which identify a sleep disorder consistently and accurately.
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS: The ideal candidate must have excellent verbal, written and communication skills and be a Registered Polysomnography Technologist. Board Certification in Polysomnography Technology is preferred.

EDUCATION: H.S. Diploma/GED or equivalent experience is required
EXPERIENCE: 3+ Years of experience is required
CERTIFCATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION: Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT) from the Board of Registered Polysomnography Technologists (BRPT) or Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) from the American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM) Certification is required
