Under general supervision, the Medical Technologist performs a variety of routine and complex clinical laboratory tests on body fluids and substances requiring independent judgment, speed and accuracy and with the highest standard of professional performance.
Manage problems that affect test performance or reporting of test results.
Adhere to quality control procedures including documentation, instrument and procedural calibrations and instrument maintenance.
Perform all job duties in accordance with established standards and quality control to ensure high quality patient care.
Other duties as assigned.

This position requires a Bachelor’s Medical Technologist Degree or equivalent and city/state licenses or permits to qualify as a Technologist w/1-3 years experience in a Clinical Laboratory.
Generalist, chemistry or hematology background to work in chemistry, hematology and STAT departments. ASCP or AMT certification preferred.
Must be able to pass standardized color vision test and work overtime as business needs require.
