Vanderbilt LifeFlight Event Medicine partners to provide emergency management services to a majority of our area's events. Some of our partners and events include Bridgestone Arena (concerts and sporting events), Nashville Predators, The Woods Amphitheatre at Fontanel, Ascend Amphitheater, First Tennessee Park, The Nashville Sounds, Nashville Convention and Visitor's Corporation's 4 th of July Festival and New Year's Eve Festival, The Country Music Association Festival, Steeplechase, Bonnaroo, Vanderbilt Athletics, and more. Event Medicine provided services for over 800 events last year and continues to add to our partnerships. Vanderbilt LifeFlight is a member of the International Special Events Society and the International Festivals & Events Association.
* Our Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMT) provide emergency medicine at both small and large events. The ability to work independently is critical, since you may be the only EMS person at the event based on size and contractual agreements. We require AEMTs to have at least two years of 911 experience.

JOB SUMMARY: Independently works off assessment skills to activate patient care protocols to deliver patient care within his/her full scope of practice as defined by the state of Tennessee and LifeFlight's scope of practice. Maintains compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. Safety transport patients utilizing Vanderbilt and Unit specific safety, policy and procedure and accreditation standards. Maintains equipment per regulatory and compliance standards. Responsible for effective communication to ensure safe and quality patient care with team, transport and handover.
Complete documentation of transports/patient care performed using Vanderbilt and Unit specific compliance policy.
Safely transport patients utilizing Vanderbilt and Unit specific safety policy and accreditation standards. Maintains equipment per regulatory and compliance standards.
Communicate/collaborates effectively to meet patient and team needs.
