This position is assigned to the Prosthetic & Sensory Aids service in the Phoenix VA Medical Center. The technician will report directly to the Prosthetic Lab Supervisor. The primary purpose of this position is to provide direct, timely patient care to Veterans by measuring, fitting, modifying, and repairing orthotic appliances, assistive devices, orthopedic shoe modifications, and orthotic supports that are prescribed. The position may be involved with the design and fabrication, as needed.
