Under the direction of the Perioperative Nurse Manager, the Reprocessing Technician assists in maintaining the physical environment, maintains reprocessing equipment, properly reprocesses endoscopes and accessory equipment, maintains inventory of endoscopes, facilitates scope repair, complies with standards and regulatory functions, conducts supply functions, and assists with varying clerical functions in the endoscopy suite. Works closely with the Infection Preventionist to ensure standards of compliance.
High school diploma or GED required.
Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English
Previous experience with endoscopic equipment preferred
