A Medical Technologist (MT) at this level carries out the day-to-day operations in the laboratory. This includes routine testing, quality control, routine maintenance of instrumentation. The MT develops, performs, evaluates, interprets, correlates, and validates the accuracy of laboratory procedures and results ensuring all requirements are met. This position focuses on MT duties in a toxicology laboratory performing immunoassay screens along with GC-MS and LC-MS/MS confirmation testing.
