The function of the Medical Instrument Technician (Anesthesia) assigned to VAMC Orlando is to perform logistical and technical support to anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists assigned to the facility. They maintain anesthesiology supplies and equipment, set-up anesthetizing locations and operate, monitor, and collect data from anesthesia related equipment. The Anesthesia Technician performs equipment preventive maintenance/repair.
