Nuclear Medicine Technologists in this assignment perform functional imaging and non-imaging radionuclide studies, requiring the administration of radiopharmaceuticals and the use of specialized equipment such as integrated computer/gamma camera systems and counting instruments. The technologist performs all procedures in Nuclear Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology and Positron Emission Technologist (PET), in combination with Low Dose computer Tomography (LDCT), for fusion imaging.
