Baylor Scott & White Health laboratory is hiring, Medical Technologist.

Our Medical Technologist performs and monitors a variety of laboratory testing.  The Medical Technologist performs moderate to complex laboratory analyses to contribute to the delivery of quality patient care, and ensures quality control procedures are followed and equipment functions properly. In addition the Medical Technologist is responsible for:

Recognizes and takes action on abnormal results and documents notification of appropriate staff

Demonstrates acceptable venipuncture success rates

Demonstrates manual data entry skills with a low error rate

Is knowledgeable of proper specimen collection, processing and handling techniques

Performs routing calibration and preventative maintenance on instruments and equipment

Helps maintain adequate stock of supplies

The ideal Medical Technologist candidate will possess excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
