We are seeking an Assistant Manager of Sterile Processing for our Skokie location. This position is full-time, day shift, with rotating weekends and holidays.
Job Duties
-Supervising all activities in the assigned area. Scheduling staffing levels to assure proper productivity. Adjusting schedule to meet department needs. -Managing the orientation and training program for new personnel. Assigning new personnel to appropriate staff trainer/preceptor for introduction and exposure to all other functions. -Assisting management in various functions. -Maintaining regular contact with other hospital personnel in order to review the efficiency of services provided. -Collecting and collating statistical data and graphs for required reports relating to task performance and productivity
Requirements
-5+ years of SPD/OR experience -High School Diploma or GED equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred -Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution(CBSPD) preferred or International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management (IAHCSMM
