Utilizes independent judgment to provide MR services to patients while adhering to all department and organizational policies, procedures and standards. Liaison for the MRI department to include: radiologist, radiology manager, service, patient scheduling and building maintenance.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS AND LEVEL OF AUTONOMY:
Directly to Imaging Services Supervisor.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of a two-year program in an AMA accredited school of Radiologic Technology. Must be able to read and write in English.
PROFESSIONAL LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Registration from the ARRT required. Current CPR certificate required.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: At least three yearsâ�� experience in MRI preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Physically able to move patients of various weights from the stretcher to the exam table with the use of patient slider. To assist patients from a wheel chair to the exam table.
