The perfect candidate for our Phase 1 Nurse Manager position will be a self-motivated, self-driven, and detail-oriented individual who is ready to dive right into our fast-paced work environment. In this role, you are responsible for coordinating and providing leadership to the research team supporting clinical research conducted by the Principal Investigator(s). In addition, the PM is also responsible for overseeing and coordinating clinical research studies by performing a variety of complex activities, which include, but are not limited to, the collection, compilation, documentation, and analysis of clinical research data.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Pre-study and pipeline feasibility assessment and determination; oversee coordination for protocol execution and collect clinic demographics/site questionnaires.
Post-site selection activity by developing recruitment strategies and formalize recruitment plans; assigning study coordinators; facilitating required training and education; providing routine project management.
Study execution by monitoring active screening activities; monitoring study conduct problems and inconsistencies; facilitating accurate and timely data collection, documentation, entry, and reporting; evaluating and interpreting study progress; and conferring with PI.
BS or MS degree in the Life Sciences, Psychology, or of related field is required.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in clinical trial management/clinical project management experience is required.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Phase I – Phase III drug and/or device studies.
Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and FDA regulations governing the conduct of clinical trials.
Experienced managing multiple concurrent clinical studies and clinical teams with exceptional time management, organizational, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
