The Lead Tech supervises, directs, & oversees the technical operations & activities for assigned areas system wide in all of imaging to include CT, Xray, MRI, NM, and US. This includes, but is not limited to the day-to-day supervision of staffing, workloads, patient flow, patient safety, & timely & efficient service delivery. The Team Lead has responsibility & accountability for the Customer Service practices & standards compliance of assigned areas. The Team Lead will assist the Radiology Manager in recruitment, selection, hiring, orientation, training, coaching, discipline & counseling of all employees. The Team Lead will also oversee all equipment & supply usage: ensures all equipment issues are reported to the appropriate authority and addressed promptly; and ensures all necessary supplies are available at all times.Â In addition, this position will handle special projects & performs additional duties as assigned.
ARRT, RT(R) and/or (CT) eligible; must obtain CT registry within 1 year of employmentÂ
BCLSâ€"American Heart Association
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or AAS Degree in Radiologic Technology
1-3 years verifiable radiology experience at an acute care facility; supervisor experience is preferred
Some training/exposure to all modalities of Radiology (i.e. CT, MRI, Ultrasound, NM, etc.)
Communication skills. Good interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast paced environment. Must be flexible.
