The Nursing Assistant (NA) is accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for completing patient care assignments for communicating patient responses to care provided to the designated RN. The employee will usually work independently in carrying out daily assignments. He/she will keep the nurse informed of any changes in resident conditions or unit activities. His/her work will be evaluated for overall effectiveness through reports, observation, and rounds.
